Morning all.

Seems like the Leicester City fixture in 9 days time will go a long way to deciding our fate this season. The Foxes played well yesterday at the Etihad and to be honest look the best of the bottom 5 sides, fortunately for us they're just not picking up any points at the moment. Next weekend they face Wolves at home before they travel to ER for the relegation 6 pointer the following midweek.

If we lose then the trap door will surely be open.

Jammy I believe City took their foot off the gas at half time and put second string players on and saved their best players for the European match mid week. Dean Smith had nothing in the first half and was 2 down within minutes of the start. Leicester were rabbits in the headlights so don’t believe they have much to offer this season now. Also many of those players are leaving in the summer, they don’t care any more

Agreed that City took their foot off the gas, however it was still a confidence booster for Leicester.

They won the second half and should have won it by 2 goals.

Don’t agree Jammy sorry. Had city kept playing it would have been six and Leicester will know that. Anyhow sooner or later we have to win a couple of the must win games. 29 won’t keep us up

Well they beat us easily at the King Power and of the teams below us I'd still say Leicester have the best chance of getting out of it.

One win will change their season so let's hope it's not against us.

Oddly enough the closer it gets to the Liverpool game the more confident I feel of a positive result. No idea why, probably nonsense

The Turks of trabzonspor have pulled the plug on Jesse over his wage demands apparently they baulked at the amount he was looking for....so no Turkish delight or belly dancing for him....<whistle>

Sports media having a ****fest about Ollie Watkins, yet if they bothered to do simple checks he is way behind Rodrigo on the important metrics like: goals per games played, goals per minutes played and goal conversion %

Personally I'd never begrudge someone like Phillips the £20 to £25 million he'll earn for signing for City. Good luck to him and he didn't sell his soul just took the best contract his profession was offering.

Do I agree with you about City buying their success ?

Yes 100% but that's the times we're living in and they (City) aren't the only ones.
I never said I begrudged him, I'm just saying that he isn't as good as people thought he was and the fact that he's played an hour and whatever of football IMO proves it. Like I say he could have stayed and got a big wage rise at Leeds Utd and also got game time. <ok>

Maybe he thought Jesse was a useless prick and the biggest fake coach to ever take charge of a PL team so jumped ship ;)

Haaland is also a Leeds supporter, he’s not short of a few quid, just like they all do he followed the money. Fans rarely show loyalty to a player so why should they really. KP had his fans, he also had abuse early days and his haters.
Well we all know you're a fan. <ok>
