Reports are saying he's set to leave Liverpool this summer, it would be an amazing end to his career if he could come back to us to finish where it all started..

He'd be an absolutely brilliant role model for the likes of Dan Neil aswell to learn from. Can anybody see us being able to persuade him to come back, or will his agent be ringing the club up and begging us to take him back on his behalf?

I’d love it, but I’m not sure if it would happen.

Would be an excellent pro to have around the club and in the first team

He's thirty two I think. His next contract will effectively be his last and will be wildly out of our range. He's good enough for most teams in the PL.

We will probs get him after his next club imo. Maybe in 2 years time when he's 34.
If I was in his shoes I'd be saying to myself (as stated above) I don't need the money and I'd love to go back to my club while I'm still at my sort of peak and not wait till my legs have gone.
Hopefully he would love to help get us promotion next season. (If we don't go up this season)

We won’t need him then when we’ve already won the premiership <ok>

Iirc he has a longer contact with the bindippers than the end of this season, so will they pay him off, or will they look for a club to pick his £m salary?

I'd be surprised if he leaves Liverpool this summer. They'd be mad to let him go - not because he can deliver every week at the highest level anymore, but because his professionalism is exceptional and he's still someone you want to play in key games. They'll buy someone top class (Bellingham) and use Henderson sparingly instead of Milner if they've got any sense.
