If we go down I imagine we'll sell him ... Liverpool have already sounded us out ...

If Lesta get relegated, I'd expect a few will go. Players like James Justin, Bertrand, Maddison, Barnes, Dewsbury-Hall will attract interest from Premier league clubs. And I'd imagine Newcastle will be in for one or more of them.

We might pick up Tielemans on a free in the summer if we're still interested and help to revive his career. Especially given we'll be able to offer him Champions league football.

I'm obviously not conflicted by any Big 6 rivalry, so can just enjoy the CL and players in it at face value for what they are ... Haaland reminds me a bit of van Nistlerooj but more so of Marco van Basten who was, arguably, the most 'complete' centre-forward that I've seen in my lifetime ...

And you’d lose the argument as soon as somebody brought up Ronaldo.

Refreshing to hear Martin Cassidy, a scouser, and CEO of Ref Support putting his bias to one side and calling out Robertson for his manhandling of the match official, who he states naturally shrugged him off. He wants Robertson to be punished for his abusive behaviour.

The rest of the triggered Livpl fanbase who are shamelessly supporting Robertson's violent conduct towards match officials could learn a lot from Cassidy.

the Ref should book any **** who surrounds them or the lino's. only Captains can approach but not screaming or shouting. only the Refs can sort the **** behaviour out.

You think Marco Van Basten is a better (more complete) number 9 than Ronaldo?

Man have you ever watched football?

Not necessarily but I did watch him destroy England and also score one of the most stunning goals I've ever seen in a final ... in contrast I watched Ronaldo crumble in a World Cup ... which wasn't nice to see ...

... but I also mentioned van Nistelrooj purposely because he continually delivered in the most competitive league in world football...

... but my main point, and the one that obviously triggered you is that Haaland has the potential to eclipse all of the above ... and has already set arecord for most goals in the league that is undeniably the most competitive ...
