Edwards was **** he bought minamino ffs. the reality is all these guys were in on the sale and Edwards was OK well I'm off before this goes tits up. ward went OH. Well I'd rather make paper airplanes than work for a living as the main man at one of the world's biggest clubs the queue for both is and will be...well... very very short. fsg have now gone oh well, can't sell get back over there Mike and sort out the mess. the real truth though is this; nobody can sustain through level of intensity big jobs require over the length of time we are asking of klopp. there's only so much energy he will have as he gets older and he is not the problem. we've wrung him out. nunez and gakpo are pretty much classic fsg, as is doaz. bought for resale values and wages they would take imo
no? 2004? how.many arrived at Chelsea, cech, carvalho, Drogba, etc Al? instant title. but I will always contend that they were already 2nd and were ready to advance with the new injection of state doping
Just gonna say how good has firmino been at times this season. Looks back to his somewhat best in small doses. Gonna be a real shame when he goes. Proper legend of the club there. Considering he was more the creator and work horse of that front 3, his goal stats are nothing to be ashamed of either! Guy loved an important goal
He's going to be very hard to replace. In fact, I doubt we will find an adequate like-for-like replacement, we'll have to tweak the system.
I know he's being touted as such, but yeah, we'll have to wait and see. Thing is, there are very few truly selfless players who put the team above themselves, Bobby's great strength is looking for the best way to score a goal even if it means someone else grabs the glory.
Big changes? when Evans bought 2 cbs on the same day and then decided 352 was the way to go? when houllier bought world Cup players.and French crap? when rafa bought 12 players having been handed control? no I suppose we don't do big changes we'll.
hunger drives everything. vvd fitness and weight. trent tracking or not salah pressing or not. that 5% less is all that it takes to drop the intensity in training but day by day and session by session the staff have to see that and stamp on it's neck and they have not successfully.
Oh I agree. I'm just saying that this set of players has the capability if they are sufficiently motivated, so wholesale changes perhaps aren't necessary. Of course fresh blood might reactivate that hunger, so it might well be the answer - but the energy and motivation of Nunez, for instance, still doesn't seem to be transmitting itself throughout the squad. I wonder if the effort of trying to compete for so long with City has worn them down? This squad has had the quality to win 3 or 4 titles if it wasn't for the oil cheats.
Hopefully you're right but I think he's going to look at his options and if he's not committed to coming to us then we have to move on.
Lfc apparently pulled out the running for Bellingham as won’t be logical to spend 100m on one player given the rebuild needed. Pessimist will say oh look no money to spend. optimist will say lfc playing hardball that if Bellingham wants to come, needs to get Dortmund to lower their price.
Reminds me of when, after handing in four pathetic assignments averaging 30% toward my geography A level, I informed the teacher I was dropping the subject. "No", he responded, "I think you'll find that geography has dropped you".
