It’s not that I’m expecting us to bulldoze through teams each week, I‘m just struggling to see the progress other than the defensive improvements which let’s be honest any half decent manager would be able to address.

I was hoping by now we would be able to see some progress in our attack (not expecting 5 goals every game) but just want to see something either in the underlying stats or just with the naked eye and “see” what what Rosie is trying to do but I just can’t see it. (Obviously other than keeping the ball more)

Apologies if I haven’t explained it very well!

Fine by me, let Greaves go, he's having to play at left back because our 2 cb are better than him, and he's not really that good at lb. No player is bigger than our club.

No, my point is if we perform like that then more often than not we’ll lose. Today was the outlier.

Yet you give us absolutely no credit when we deserve the result and don't get it. Surely the same logic applies.

No its not sustainable long term, but it is this season.

We're not going anywhere. Despite the early promise, injuries completely killed off any chance we had of a play off push that looked possible under Rosie this season. But to be honest, it was always unlikely.

I just don't see why there's any reason to be down about performances from a line up that will look different next season compared to today. Half the defence will be different, probably a completely different attack and a change or two in midfield. Rosie is doing well with a team that Shota couldn't get anything out of, despite having a lot of knock backs along the way.

You have to feel sorry for Greaves on a few fronts... firstly, he is one of our own and it would be great to see him become a jewel... he must be gutted that Macca while good last season has improved immeasurably and as such he cant get a look in and despite getting lumps kicked out of him he just bounces back up and he's calm!!! JG is of course left footed which makes things more difficult still for him, yet Macca adapted and played right side last season when they were together, I dont think JG could do that. Whilst other clubs will be looking at JG there will be loftier clubs looking at McC. Macca is 26 though and JG is only 22 and maturity in a CB position is something that comes with time. Whether City have the time to make him wait who knows.

I’m thinking more longterm rather than just this season.

Hull manager Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside:

"Our first-half performance was way off the levels we have played at this season and I had to make changes. I wasn't happy with our intensity, energy and our application.

"What I saw in that first half I never ever want to see again. I love this club and I will not accept anyone who does not put in 100%.

"We worked hard on our defensive shape and that is what won us the game. Karl Darlow was magnificent when he was called upon.

"What we need to do is make sure that this time next season we are at the top end of this league. I am putting pressure on myself saying it, but I know what it requires."

Millwall boss Gary Rowett told BBC Radio London:

"From 15 or 20 minutes onwards we were by far the better team. We had pretty much control of the game and all the best chances.

"As an away team we have had 20 shots on goal and Darlow has made five or six outstanding saves. The reality is I was really pleased with the performance.

"I didn't like the goal we conceded - I thought it was a bit of a soft goal from a long way out and we could close down quicker - but after that we have got to take our chances.

"That's why strikers usually get the most money and, as we saw in January, are hard to find. We got into some brilliant areas and that last little bit of composure and quality wins us the game comfortably."

We aren’t going to have precisely the same players and squad and tactics long term. So it’s still a rubbish point.

Ahh right. So the tactics and style of play Rosie is trying to implement is just for this season? Silly me

No question that he was poor today and absolutely deserved to be hooked at half time, but why make **** up? He created the first half's best chance with a lovely cross dropped onto Tufan's head, who made a complete mess of a straightforward header. Against Rotherham he created several really good chances. If we get the ball to him near the opposition box he's probably second only to Traore in being able to create something. However the rest of his game is just not good enough, yet. He'll make a career at this level or higher if he can learn from people like Rosenior.

It's disgraceful that we only managed to get three points from today's game. It's simply not good enough.

Excellent winner but we really did nick all 3 points today.

    Darlow had a blinder but…

    ‘We don’t care..’

    Allam’s GONE.
