Manchester got pretty much everything you're after, places like Schuh, Footlocker like everywhere else, and loads of shops for kicks and that, which are much the same as anywhere else but bigger maybe. Can't see why you wouldn't get what you what in one of the department stores; Kendals, Selfridges, Harvey Nicks etc.
