I've found the ignore option and have used it. In a way, the best course of action would be if the entire Spurs board unanimously had him on ignore. He'd swan over here with his GIFs and get absolutely no response from anyone. Eventually he'd give up. Like a hungry dog tied to a lamp post.
If you saw the endless Fosse callouts over a 2-3 year period where he predicted Leicester's downfall, you'll know that he won't give up Just fight him in a GIF battle, he's limited to Vince McMahon, instant advantage to his opponent.
So, you lot have came to the same conclusion we on the Toon board have? He's a ****ing moron and annoying, but he hasn't committed any war crimes and therefore doesn't deserve the death penalty. Respect. You survive another one Munson, gratz bro.
I was busy when this thread was taking place or I would have pushed for a week ban just for a laff tbh
All you need to do is start winning a few games and you won’t see him for dust. Having watched Monday’s game though you probably should go with a ban if you want him gone anytime soon.
Voted do nothing - not because I am nice or anything ridiculous like that but because he is not worthy of us taking action. Same reason I don't "ignore" anyone - not even the worst wum we have in the politics section
Tbh I stuck him on my ignore list a couple of weeks ago as he was really starting to get on my tits and that's worked a treat. I'm quite reasonable and the only other one on the naughty step is Sucky and I don't miss his input either!
Can you block a user on a per article bass ?? The GIF posting is boring in the volume done (the match articles in particular) , so being able to block them after they have become tedious would IMHO be more equitable.
Can we (the mods) or can individual posters? Yes to the former and no to the latter, as far as I'm aware.
WUMmery is akin to viruses. Do too much to the "host" , and you 'breed yourself out' . So a warning now that if he continues with the tedious GIF posting volumes, he will be blocked from posting anything more on that particular article, should suffice. If not, then repeated behaviour gets the board ban.
If you can then someone needs to ban a certain person (not Munse) from the politics thread where all they do is post tweets
Not the same tweets all the the time though, Maybe similar tweets from various politicians repeating what others have written
