Great win last night, lots of pressure out there, as you could feel with the crowd, we showed great character to come back, kept going with the plan and what a great time to get the second. Many candidates for MotM, I'd say that was Roca's best performance in a Leeds shirt, McKennie too. One thing we've still got in abundance is the team spirit and togetherness, with those, you've always got a chance.
    Leicester were never ahead Matt.
With many of the bottom nine still to play one another, Palace have 6 to play, Leicester 5 for example, then I think 38 points will keep us safe, so we most likely need 9 from 9, very doable.

RIP Kev and Chris. I'll never forget that first home game against Arsenal after their murders, always had respect for Arsenal fans after that, their behaviour and the respect they showed was immense. Infact it was the only time, I've seen away fans encouraged to go and have a drink in the Peacock.

Yes, he had a large goldfish tank in the board room which cost something like 100 pounds a month to clean.

Over his tenure as least his intentions were good. He wanted Leeds to succeed. Can we say that about GFH, Ken Bates etc?

In Istanbul, he even had private security check on the welfare of as many Leeds fans that they physically could, attending dozens of hotels in the area.

We had 21 shots last night with 6 on target. If we can above 15 shots against Palace we should win and Zaha is out now so their biggest threat gone and 32 points should put us up to 12th and I think that will be where we finish this season.

At the moment we have a point per game average, but Gracia has actually got 1.5 points per game average. So on paper Javi and the team should score another 13 points from the last 9 games which would give us 42 points

Moan time, I wish people would **** off with the,'if we don't beat these we deserve to go down' bollocks,no if we don't muster enough points to keep out the bottom 3 come the final whistle of game 38, then yes we deserve to go down, not winning or losing one game.
You can bet Arsenal fans weren't saying, we don't deserve to win the league because we lost to a **** Everton.

Eze always seems to have a good game against us, so would like him to have a training ground mishap too

Totally agree, infact when we didn't beat Luton in the last few matches in the championship, we didn't deserve to go up but we did

In all honesty, it was me that said that before the Forest game and although I agree that there's always another game I'll explain why I said that.

It's my opinion that Forest are the worst side in this league. I've said it all season. They are awful. They'll end up finishing bottom of the league. If we hadn't beaten them last night then we would have taken either 0 points or 1 point off the worst side in this league. At that point it's quite reasonable to start thinking that maybe they aren't the worst side in this league and that it may actually be us. Losing once to them is unlucky but losing twice is starting to look more ominous.

In other words, if you can't get 3 points or more off the worst team in the league over two games then you can't really argue that we should be staying up when it comes to reviewing the season.

I wouldn't say that about Palace this week. They have some seriously talented individuals and a new manager bounce. It's a tough game given how they played last week. However, we are at home, in form and are still fighting for points. It's a game we should be winning but I'd be far more forgiving if they beat us than an extremely poor Forest.

Not just you mate, read it quite a few times around the boards. Let's not forget, no matter how poor some teams are, they are always a bogey team to others, and Forest have been one to us over the years, as we're Leicester to Villa but neither last night. It's just a bug bear of mine, sayings like that another being, he's not fit to wear the shirt, even though they give 100% every game, whether they are good enough doesn't mean they deserve that thrown at them.

As a footnote, Talkbollocks reporting Cooper will be sacked today

I wonder if many Chelsea fans said that when we thrashed them back in August. Seems like a lifetime ago.

Forest aren't the worst team in the League at home though are they ?

In fact they are a respectable 13th on home form only with 21 points and a GD of +1 and have only lost 4 times at home all season. Unfortunately for them they're woeful on the road and with only 4 home games left (Man U, Brighton, Saints & Arsenal) are deep in trouble.

So tough times ahead for Forest, but no one is down yet and it's still all to play for.
