While I agree with Tash, Eddie likes to keep a winning team out there, does anyone expecting some rotation tonight? Think there will be some very tired legs after Sundays game and another big game on Saturday coming up. The squad is nearly fit and you could make a few changes tonight before or during the game and not disrupt things to much... Wilson for Isak - Isaks in good form so would be a strange one but Wilson loves playing West Ham and usually scores against the hammers. Joelinton for Willock - Willock looked like he picked up something on Sunday and Big Joe's had 3/4 weeks off so pretty fresh so no need to risk it imo. Murphy for Gordon - AG came on and did very well off the ball and made some good tackles etc. Murphy probably gets the nod Target for Burn - think it would be harsh on Burn to be dropped but he's been belting about all season up and down the left and Target could get arun out, equally if Schar or Botman needs a rest you can move Burn inside ASM for Miggy - probably not but could see miggy getting 20-30 mins tonight Be interesting to see if any of those are made but good to have options in the run in and if there aren't some changes tonight or early in the second half I'd expect some on the weekend.
1. I would keep Isak going - he has missed enough of the season. If he is tiring switch them at half time. 2. Would only change Willock if he has a knock 3. Would go with Gordon. We spent a lot of money on him and he must be up for the game 4. I would actually like to see Targett in just to see if he offers something different down that wing 5. Is Almiron fit? Would still go with ASM starting.
Good points, just think with the next game literally 60-65 hours later something needs to give whether that be the starting XI or the players hammys
Fully expect us and West Ham to serve up a ****fest that will make last nights Liverpool/Chelsea game a classic
West Ham will play for a draw from the first minute, classic Moyes. We have to show our class and out play them
We will. Alex the great will drag the ****ers all over and Maxi will set up Longstaff x 2... Which is a different prediction to last night, but I'm standing by it. 2-0. Bubbles popped.
This has draw written all over it. If they do sit back, they'll contain us. Need ASM to have a good game again
They are actually weak in defence. They look slow all over the park apart from Bowen. We need to play the same high energy game we played Sunday and they won’t be able to cope.
That would be the concern. We have tended to struggle to break down any team that sets up to defend. Hopefully we get an early goal or two to put an quick end to such shenanigans.
Hi! My name is Alexander... I'm good at pulling teams like that all over the shop. We'll be fine - I hope. West Ham can't afford to park the bus against us. Their home form is their only form (their away form is joint worst in the league).
By the way, just in case Trev forgot... IIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT'SSSSSSS MAAAAAAAAAAAATTTCCHHHH DAAAAAAYYYYYY HTL TOON, TOON!
