Graham and the lads have announced that they're ending the podcast at the end of the season.

This podcast is by far the best Sunderland podcast out there and it's a shame it's coming to an end.

The reaction pods (when we don't lose) are always my favourite part but he did some great interviews over lockdown with Allardyce, Poyet, Wes Brown and a few others which were all enjoyable. He always managed to get the best guests from other clubs too when it came to preview shows.

Any suggestions on a podcast on Sunderland to pick up next season (not the obvious two as I think they're ****e)?

Used to like WMS until the younger clowns started. I like Roker Rapport with Gav and Chris Wynn, but Graham WTF was the best by a country mile.
Professional (and artifically enforced) negativity on WMS - they all hate Speakmann and refuse to give him or the club an ounce of credit. Every pod is "well we have no strikers but we're not allowed to talk about it" whilst proceeding to blame the club for Stewart getting injured and leaving us short. It's cringeworthy now

Their tweets are the same as well. No need, they used to have good crack and it was a good listen.

Well I completely fell for it... Though I did only listen today so it didn't even cross my mind.

Glad it's carrying on, even if he has made me look like a twat! <laugh>
He gets some canny guests on does Graham. Local journos and podcasters from the away teams and also balanced views from away fans pods. Not just full of bellends but good away fans with years of watching their team who give a good debate.

The Norwich one the other week was abit arrogant mind, not Grahams fault though and made the win all the sweeter

Aye, I gave the Norwich lad a bit of (light hearted) grief on twitter after that pod. To come on an opposition show and arrogantly predict a 4-0 win was quite remarkable. I enjoyed the pelters at full time

But aye, generally they are decent - it's good to hear from opposition fans and Graham's style is a good one

For the record, I think WMS is very polished and Goldsmith is an excellent presenter - he comes across very calm and measured and clearly has been doing this for years. I don't like the "on brand" negativity towards Speakman and cannot listen to the preview/review shows with those 2 lads in the car, or in the pub with that annoying lass shouting over everyone else

Yes I thought the exact same thing about him. Norwich fan talking us down, so when we won there I tweeted to Graham about that supporter. But like a true professional he ignored my post <laugh>
