Still waiting for a wheelbarrow job. Had a close look at Frere D'armes at 15/8 in the 15.35 Ascot but with the forecast ground (soft, heavy in places) decided too much of a risk. And now best price 7/4

Well avoided. I seem to have returned to the mind set that stopped me betting (ie trying to find a race with good prize money where I could not find an argument for any horse apart from one, and that one at a price better than the chance I gave it (on rare occasions hedging 2 horses if the the odds permitted). It took so long to find anything that qualified, I just found myself not betting at all, and still don't <laugh>
