what's happened here then?

He'd apparently been part of some shady **** at Juve before we hired him, there's been recent court cases in Italy over it and he was initially given a ban in Italy but FIFA's now extended the ban to worldwide so we're basically gonna sack him shortly I think.

I can't believe Wednesday had two games in which they could have gone top and bottled it. That leaves Ipswich back in with a chance now.
To be fair to Wednesday they kept going when it seemed they were down and out.

Last kick of the game they hit the post as well.

No easy games anywhere in the EFL it seems.

I was just looking up Lee Gregory who scored Weds equaliser, I thought his goal scoring record didn't look bad when he was at Halifax, then I noted he played there the same time as Jamie Vardy.

New legislation in place for existing/new owners of PL clubs.

Basically you can’t be owned by a murderer, a fraud or a tax evader.

Not sure who this affects, Newcastle probably most at risk but doubt anything will change.

They need to put a **** clause in their O/Dir tests to stop any more Glazers.

It's using "Global Human Rights Sanctions Regulations 2020." They're just following the existing UK sanctions list and saying "those people can't buy a club."

But based on those sanctions... they already can't buy a football club in England anyway.

Like nothing here would stop Qatari's from buying Man Utd and they're also accused of Human Right's abuses.

Yeah I don’t see anything changing either.

Hopefully City’s owners get done for fraud and disqualified.

That's the biggest joke

No state can have a direct hand in running a club, but the City owner is a royal and a deputy prime minister.
