You would think history never existed .The judicial overhaul would give the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, and therefore the parties in power, more control over Israel’s judiciary.
From how judges are selected, to what laws the Supreme Court can rule on, to even giving parliament power to overturn Supreme Court decisions.

Yes, although the difference. Israel was not the initial instigator of the war, and Russia is. I'm not defending Israel here, I think they're clearly in the wrong, but what they're doing is not exactly the same as Russia. Sure, you could say Israel should never have been created, or they should have been given land in Alaska instead and then there would have been no war, but that's a different topic.

Eh? Both are illegally occupying another people's land based on international law. Israel is currently flouting 60+ U.N. resolutions and has been for 50+ yrs. Our response to both is completely opposite. How about we arm the Palestinians with the world's most powerful and up to date weapons and equipment like we have the Ukranians and let them and Israel sort it out. Lets see how quickly the Israelis run to the table for a settlement. The IDF are pussies when they have to fight anyone on a level footing. Always have been, always will be.
