Kelso 3.35 Hill Sixteen 5/1. Good course form, strong stayer think it has a good shout. A bit of word for Bolger horse in the 1.35 at the curragh still 10/1 with B365. Not sure if the ground is gonna be ideal so factor that into the price available.
I haven't seen a good bet for quite a while, and still not seeing one. So just to keep myself interested 2 horses running tomorrow at not very good odds in a small 13/2 Double Bangor 15.43 Rock Hurley Evs Kelso 15.35 Forward Plan 11/4
Sad to read that ONE FOR ARTHUR passed away yesterday. One of very few National winners that I have backed and his run that day was faultless.
Newbury 14,40 Ebonello 18/1 e/w bet365 five places, four others Curragh 15,25 Star Harbour 20/1 e/w betfair five places, 18/1 sky seven places, 18/1 bet365 and PP six places
Afternoon all, I think B Loughnane and B Hughes will be amongst the winners today so I will plump for 5 of theirs. 1.45 LING SAUSALITO 3.30 LING BADRI 3.08 BAN JUNGLE JACK 3.43 BAN ROCK HURLEY 4.10 BAN METHODTOTHEMADNESS At Kelso I like FORWARD PLAN in the 3.35 Good luck
Now 11/8 and 4, not too far off 11/1 double. Can't complain at that for 2 favs (that's if they both end up favs)
In the Veterans' Handicap Chase at Newbury (17:00), the French-bred gelding, Saint Xavier, has a good chance in this finalé event. Lily Pincton (3) on board for the Richard Hobson yard. 5/1 (Unibet/BetUk) best price at time of writing.. (Prices from Oddschecker)
Was at Aintree for that race and he won very nice, one of the horses I had completely overlooked but a few of our travelling group had backed him and we had a right night after it as a result. Lovely horse and may he RIP.
Looks a monster. To lead and get away from them like that on the front end making it look effortless takes some ability.
The pedigree of Equinox. Some interesting non Japanese further back? A bit further back is the great Ribot
Equinox installed 8/1 fav for the Arc. But he has only ever ran on fast ground and 8 months ago was beaten a nk by Do Deuce ("with something in hand") who then finished 42L behind Alpinista on very soft in the Arc. If the ground is anything but fast in October, he will be off to the Breeders Cup instead. Still, it keeps the price for Vadeni at 14s
