If it means more money i dont give a ****!! Ill still call it St James', so will you. So who gives a ****. Money to buy one more Tiote and one more Cabaye for the sake of a stadium name change! yes sir. no problem. **** anyone who says they wont attend or buy anything, your being a ****in dick over a name. Ive said this sentence so many times to knobheads like anyone who says that but - what matters ends at the white line on the edge of the pitch, anything outside that can suck it up.

Grow the **** up. 3rd in the league and you let this get to you.

Relax, you sound as angry as the people you disagree with ironically! People are bound to be annoyed, its part of the club's history. But we'll of course all move on - just takes a bit of venting for some people first.

Pah. I've been calling it the sports direct for a while now, it's what is written all over it anyways.

Still love the Fattus Mikeus mind. He loves to whip the locals up into a frenzy.

Ashley would never be daft enough to have Sports Direct as a kit sponsor as they'd never sell.
Still wouldn't be surprised if this was all a ruse for him to have more free advertising.

So will the pre match announcer now say welcome to the Sports Direct arena? Imagine the boos! <laugh>

Strange situation. Everything Ashley does makes me think he's an idiot, but your squad and current league position makes me think otherwise.

It's their lying that gets to people mate. I'm not advocating boycotting or whatever, but paying punters deserve to know the truth and they never get it from Mike and Dekka.

And by the way no money is going to come in. I'm no business expert so correct me if I'm wrong on this but surely he's not going to pump his own money into the club to rename it after the company he owns and call me cynical but I don't think he ever plans on selling the naming rights, so basically the club's left with nowt but a stadium with an absolutely **** soulless new name.

like i said earlier not ****ed off or happy about it more resigned as it's the way it's going to go at a lot of clubs the modern owner will look at every avenue to make money sentiment and tradtion won't even come into it unless it makes money of course

Like I said, too many SD signs over the stadium for anyone to buy the naming rights.

you'll be next well soon it's the way it's going man city/chelsea/us it won't be long before it happens everywhere money talks my friend tradition means **** all to the modern owner

I know. It's sad realy. Name change is something we have been really worried about since we were promised a new one 5 years ago!

I mean losing the name Anfield is just unthinkable to us, and I guess its similar your way. Trouble is our new owners have saved us from oblivion so most of us are in a moral dilemma. Stanley Park we like, but none of this advertising name bollocks.

This one is going to run and run. Looking forward to seeing the comments on the chronicle website, the regulars will be F5ing from now until it goes up.

I don't get why this gets to people. You all just keep banging on about tradition etc but the name of the stadium isnt the heart of our club. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference people will still call it SJP.
