Big mistake Palace sacking Vieira in my personal opinion. From what I saw his defensive record looked pretty good, it was just the lack of scoring ability - although as they said on Soccer Saturday, the games he lost he was expected to lose, the irony being as soon as they sack him, Palace concede four, that's Karma in my book. Anyway good luck to the old dog that is Hodgson until the end of the season, I hope he keeps Palace up, I like them.
Its a dumb decision to be honest.
Replacing him with the guy who got Watford relegated last season is even dumber.
The relegation battle looks like its gonna be a cracker this season, anyone from 12th downward could be relegated.
You pretty much have half the table in a relegation fight.

Only 4 points separate the teams below the yellow line....nuts.

I thought they were bland but safe as houses under Hodgson and basically the same under Patrick, I don't really know what Palace expect from their managers.

But as they've gone back to Hodgson they obviously think some aspect of his management was superior to Vieras, perhaps something behind the scenes?

I think Watford got Watford relegated tbh, irrespective of the manager. They're ****ing bonkers there.

If I had to send 3 teams down as a preference, it would be Leicester, because I cannot stand their manager. Wolves, because I don't particularly like the club. One more probably Bournemouth no particular reason. I could get two out of my three, Leicester & Bournemouth. Southampton will do a Houdini act. I don't want West Ham or Palace to get relegated simply because they are London clubs.

Vieira got the call about 7 in the morning, so their chairman probably made the decision on climbing out of bed that morning, dickhead (him not you lol).

Probably yeah, but honestly Hodgson is a manager I have a lot of respect for.

When abroad for most of his career, learns multiple languages in his mid 30s and 40s, that's ****ing hard work.

Becomes a legend at Malmö even did a lot for Finnish football.

Comes to England after all those years and does a cracking job at Fulham, even though he got battered at Pool he goes to Brom and does a great job again.

He's a tough old bastard Hodgson.

I agree mate, lots of respect to Hodgson, but he really should be putting his feet up somewhere in the sun this time of year.

Am surprised Rodgers is still at Leicester to be honest.
I know Vardy is past it, but with players like Maddison and Tielemens they really shouldnt be where they are.
And his decision to basically treat Jan Vestergaard as a red headed step child is baffling.

They're struggling for cash there I think and sacking Rodgers might be expensive
