Pelkas has been cack but playing him as a striker is probably one of Rosy’s worst tactical experiments this season.

Didn't think we looked in any danger until that **** up at the back, which we're still very much prone to every game. Fortunately most sides in this league will let us off

I think the first half has proven we are ( ATM ) a way of competing at the top end of this league on a consistent basis. Rosie, like the WBA game has got things wrong. Let's hope he gets things right in the second half.

Pelkas is poor
Coyle was lucky to get away with handball
Traore is a very good player
Malcolm is a very good attacking player, but way of the pace when we are defending.
Darlow ( and any keeper at this level ) should not be getting beat that easily at their near post, he just got his angles wrong
Elder being found out against top opposition

Burnley are a top top team and I can see exactly why Rosie is trying to replicate how they play with us, their squad is just so much stronger.

Roll on the second half!

Can't really complain about being a goal down, Burnley'll be wondering why it isn't more. Hard to see what Pelkas is giving us, wherever he plays he looks out of position. If we can keep hold of Traore and he stays fit I think we're on to a winner, probably not this game though.

Traore looks a player...

Have a feeling Pelkas knows his days are numbered... Elder!!!... pussy , as they just said, if he'd accepted that he'd misjudged the flight he makes the tackle...

Me. He did have a good game Saturday, not really relevant to how **** he was just then though is it.
No he didn’t have a good game, every attack was down his side on Saturday because he is being targeted as a weak link, and the same tonight. It is relevant to how **** he was then because he was the same on Saturday. Dick

Traore has looked good. Nothing else positive to say.

We have to play differently second half. The tactic isn’t working (playing around the defence rarely will). I feel like somehow I keep repeating myself this season.

And I don’t care if they’re top of the league. We have not been brave/attacking enough on the ball.

still better than Greaves who's a liability in defence - bringing in McLoughlin has made a significant difference in tightening our defence

He’s not playing as a striker. He’s in the #10 role.

Two [HASHTAG]#10s[/HASHTAG], two wingers and two holding midfielders. No striker. Oh and both holding midfielders would get blown over by a moderate gust of wind. Square pegs in round holes.

You can see immediately the positions Oscar is occupying that we were playing with 6 in midfield and nobody up front.
