Yes, anyone can say these things, but hopefully Ainsworth can instill some pride in playing for the club.
Not saying he can with this bunch of ****ers, but against Watford there were signs of it.
My lad doesn't remember Ainsworth either and knows a lot about the game, tactics etc.
All he wants is survival, however it happens.
I agree with him.
Yes, the future looks bleak and things may well get much worse and all we see is hoof ball in league one.
But for now, I don't care what it looks like as long as we scramble together a few more points.
On the plus side our pass completion rate was much better last night and Drewe’s was very good indeed. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Still stunned after that result & performance last night, getting hit with 3 goals in first 14mins is unthinkable & couldn’t cope after that, pen decision was poor as was Dieng attempted catch & should’ve punched it or stay on his line, they was quicker to the ball & we had no answer & nor do I

Stunned is the word. Madness.

We were all happy when the long balls and s***housery got us a result against Watford. I still maintain it's our best hope given the quality of this injury-hit squad.
I'd be happy doing that if it means we stay up this season. No idea what happened last night though.
What I can't get my head around is Taylor Richards. He's always looked half decent when he comes on (apart from bootlace-gate) but cannot get a start in this depleted and knackered side. Can only think he's the world's worst trainer. If he doesn't start Saturday, why are we bothering paying him?

With the injuries and creative players out, hoofing it is kind of our only option and it can be fruitful as the Watford game proved. None of us want to see it week in week out but we've got to be pragmatic in the circumstances.
I thought when the subs were made, with Martin and Dykes off and Stef on we started playing better football, obviously the game was long gone but i think we'll be mixing it up depending on what personnel are available.

It's an impossibility to put steel in this group of players or any players, most are kids, and if youve got steel and a winning mentality youve got it,it cant be learnt.we desperately need some hardened pros and more leaders, but with our finance problems means he won't have any cash to bring in any fresh blood and that's depressing
