The world has changed though - quite a lot since social media has become the phenomenon it has. I find it hard to see how anyone can say the BBC has an agenda any more than GBNews for example. Everyone knows they are not impartial. It’s got to the point where I no longer believe anything anyone says - whether it’s a tv pundit, a journalist or politician on any form of social media. Fake news and conspiracy theorists have helped make it that way in part. Some people do what they are told, some people do what is right, or at least think is right.
For every post on Twitter backing up someone there is a post slagging them off.
People simply look for posts to back up their own beliefs rather than the facts.
