A Tadic or Charlie Austin moment would be fantastic, we have upset them before there beings the underdog. Ely hatrick it is then.
Likewise, though I don’t see him supplanting Che. As I said earlier, I’d not be against him playing Che at ten and Paul at nine if Charly isn’t quite right yet.
He's a bit like my bowling. If I don't know what the ball is going do what chance has the batsman got?
Absolutely no enthusiasm whatsoever for this. But then, I didn’t have any last week either. So who knows?
On the bright (?) side, at least we're unlikely to hear BBC commentators fawning over Man Utd, or BBC pundits trashing Saints, even after our 4-0 victory
We know that any positive results for Saints will be due to a bad day at the office for any opposition let alone Manchester United today.
They will be fired up. If we can get in their faces right away we can maybe drop their confidence a bit. 2-1 saints COYR!
If we were to get a result it will be because they had an off day, sadly that was last week, lightning rarely strikes twice in the same place...
No excuses should be provided, if Southampton do not win today! The squad have had a full week to prepare for this and should be fully focused. In contrast, Manchester United have had to deal with the fallout of getting stuffed by Liverpool, having to prepare and then playing Real Betis, so I hope Manchester United are really knackered after their endeavours over the last six days, while SFC are fresh and raring to go.
No time like the present then, or is that wishfull thinking? In the past we have hurt them, it would be nice to add another one to the list. I don't think we have the tools for the job this time. Time will tell, Saints rarely do what you expect, it's one of the things that Saints fans have always had to put up with.
Not confident about this match. I think Man Utd will react to their reversal last week and we will get nothing. I was disappointed by Bournemouth winning yesterday and I think they played well. We seem to win matches by luck as opposed to out-classing the opposition. I cannot see us putting a performance in and think it will be an easy three points for Man Utd, I am afraid.
Frm whay I understnad, it was a good performance from Bournemouth and Radio Solent opined that there was sufficient in that performance to suggest they would pull clear of the relegation zone. The centre backs were singled out for praise.
I would have thought You would be delighted that Bournemouth beat the team.that many on here seem.to loathe.
