She will be paid by the production company that produces the Apprentice
Lineker was a freelancer paid directly by the BBC
She's not known for making political statements on twitter
I dont think there's any rules that prohibit BBC workers from making political donations

You mean the hard of understanding like you who said I claimed to be privy to Lineker's contract despite me saying I didnt know what was in Lineker's contract.
I also mentioned Chelsea would be scoring goals today and you tried to ridicule me for that: Leicester 1 Chelsea 3

I'm so disappointed that someone who gets paid more than the Prime Minister and10 Cabinet Ministers isn't available to explain to me the errors of overpaid professional footballers. Scrap the BBC licence fee and get real.

Wow I didn't predict Chelsea's goals, you really got me there. Go back and look at their goals output previously and the penny might drop about the reason for my comment.

And as usual you've missed the point about Lineker's contract. All I ever asked was if you knew what was in it as you were commenting as if you did. You admitting you didn't was kind of the reason I asked the question. ;)

As the tweet I posted above indicates, freelance contracts with the BBC aren't held to the same impartiality standards unless, it seems, it's of a particular political persuasion.

    I watched MOTD
there wasnt mention of the squads which would have been nice
the show didnt need to be so short
I would rather watch a show just showing football than have people thinking they dont have to follow the rules and getting paid a ridiculous amount
It will be good for the BBC to reduce the costs of showing football
Lineker will get other work and tweet as much as he wants
I think the other workers will have a lot more difficulty
Very similar to Scargill and the miners

What rules? You keep saying things like this despite admitting you don't know what rules are in Lineker's contract. Make up your mind! :)

So I was right about Chelsea's goals despite you making out I didnt have a clue
You said: "You admitting you didn't was kind of the reason I asked the question. ;)"

I said: “I dont know what is in his contract” see #96
You said: “And neither are you so stop claiming to be.” #110

So you said I claimed to know what was in his contract AFTER I said I didnt know what's in his contract

    You are rubbish at this

Yes, you didn't have a clue about their scoring history over the last 10 or so games. You were right about a game that hadn't been played yet, amazing.

You're very boring at this. Time for bed for you I'd say.

BBC DG = Tim Davie - explained the position after I said I didnt know what was in his contract
I still dont know what was in his contract but it would appear that he breached his contract
My mind was made up but now I have more information
Your mind is made up but it seems to be contrary to the information available
The DG wants impartiality since he has been the DG

I didnt discuss their scoring history over the last 10 or so games
What made you think I didnt have a clue about it?
Just making things up wont make you right when you are wrong

Syd's results forecasts should be banned from all social media to not enable betting companies an easy win

"Lineker's apparent refusal to back down came after revelations the presenter, 62, admitted his tweet may have been a 'step too far.'

Ex-tennis pro Andrew Castle said he was working with the Match Of The Day host on Thursday when Lineker made the confession.

Castle said Lineker agreed his tweet comparing the government's asylum plan to 1930s Germany rhetoric was a 'step too far'."

Poor Gary, he’s like Rosa Parks in all this. I hope they make a film about his tweet and subsequent tweets.
