Wow I didn't predict Chelsea's goals, you really got me there. Go back and look at their goals output previously and the penny might drop about the reason for my comment.

And as usual you've missed the point about Lineker's contract. All I ever asked was if you knew what was in it as you were commenting as if you did. You admitting you didn't was kind of the reason I asked the question.

As the tweet I posted above indicates, freelance contracts with the BBC aren't held to the same impartiality standards unless, it seems, it's of a particular political persuasion.

there wasnt mention of the squads which would have been nice
the show didnt need to be so short
I would rather watch a show just showing football than have people thinking they dont have to follow the rules and getting paid a ridiculous amount
It will be good for the BBC to reduce the costs of showing football
Lineker will get other work and tweet as much as he wants
