I once had to sit in the Itchen south corner and it was ghastly. I sit half way up in the centre of the Kingsland which is perfect. (except for the people who sit behind me and moan constantly about Guly).

Same here, I'm Kingsland block 29, row BB. Perfect view of everywhere. But there are a few grumblers arund me and a few older people who don't like to have a sing and chant. :(

Anybody on here sit in block 31/32? I'd like to move further towards the Northam and down a few rows, I feel like we're so far up in the Gods we might as well be watching it on telly sometimes!

The best place to be is in the Archers Road end, standing half way up the terrace, crammed in by 100s of other fans watching the likes of Keegan and co play wonderful football...

That's a nice story, grandad.

The lovely Mrs Godders is always singing that Ricky Lambert song. We once went to a wedding in Liverpool where she got in with a crowd of Liverpool fans and had them all singing anti pompey songs. She was more than a little tiddley having had a glass or two of sherry.

I have moved around a bit - I had a season ticket for 2 years in the Northam, Row B - the view was not the best but when they score in that end it was amazing! I held a season ticket in the Itchen behind the dugout which was great as you could hear what WGS was shouting out (he even shouted back at us a few times; very scary). But the best place I have found to sit is Kingsland North in the corner about Row R.

'Don't pass it to Dean Hammond'
'Forwards'
'Wake up'

From the old guy behide me, Does my head in.

Why don't you ask him why..?

I think people will often take an opinion of a player or style, find that he, or it, is having a bad day, and then not want to see them in action again. These people will never consider that while they've been watching, those that they are making their minds up about are having the worst time during a match. For me, it's as plain as the nose on my face that Dean Hammond is picked to start on most occasions because Saints are better when he does. He's a tireless box-to-box, ball winning, leader on the pitch. I notice he's even added longer passing to his game now, as he pings the ball out to the wings, on occasion.

The passing game of keep-ball often requires a backward pass. Does the bloke not appreciate that..? Presumably he would have hated the 26 pass goal, then.

Wake up..? He may have a point there..! Still too many goals scored by the opposition because the Lads have nodded off for 5 minutes. ;)

Deano is our dirty secret. We do play better when he's there.... he does the dirty stuff for the flair players and that is always an undervalued job in any team. He is, as secondstain has said, playing well too.

Im in my second year if season ticket holding in the northam and I have some matee next to me who doesn't stop moaning, even when we were 3-0 up v boro he was still goin off on one!! No pleasing some eh.

Kingsland South is OK as long as you don't want to hear what is said on the tannoy, it's unintelligible and that easy for you to say.
