On the topic of the small boats crossing the channel, I posted yesterday about the YouGov chat I participated in indicating that there is quite a lot of support for the government’s stance on this.
Today’s chat was effectively a rehash but included Sunak’s visit to France and “should the French take more responsibility for solving the problem” (we have created through closing down all legal entry routes for refugees). The bit in brackets is my add on and not part of the chat.
Sadly, again, the general response has shown a lot of support for the government and of the opinion that it’s the fault of the French.
If Labour don’t step up to the plate on this issue, they will risk the Tories making a comeback in the polls as the next election draws closer.

And David Attenborough as well. Censorship of his new series.. Whilst the most senior figure in the BBC is a Tory donor. Freedom of speech, as long as you don't say things they don't like..

‘Stop the Boats’ is what the Falklands is to Argentina and the EU was to Cameron’s austerity.

Distraction politics.

They are polling poorly on pretty much every metric so they are looking to create a new Brexit to wrestle public opinion, it may well work depressingly. If it does this country will deserve all it gets tbh.

I would also add that I genuinely believe Labour would do a better job of tackling the issue.

Really what's been censored. It would be great if he stood up to them. What exactly are they going to do?!
