We know they tried to get a CB and a LB. We are thin on the ground though I agree. It was a gamble, but In honestly we were never going to make the playoffs and aren’t going to be relegated either. We do need to strengthen in the summer and hopefully we’ll have saved some wages in the meantime.
 
It is starting to look like our latest rebuilding plan has to be overhauled yet again and quite frankly I can't see any kind of push for the top ever occurring in the next many years at this rate. We are constantly going backwards, rather like we play on the pitch, and there is always an excuse or other to dampen our dreams enough that eventually we just become numb. Not comfortably numb, just fed up bloody numb. <doh>

Red Robin won’t be happy to read this, we’re off to the PL next season in his world…..
 
I think the Man C game has come back to bite us like I feared it would. For Kalas and Williams particularly it was a game to far - and they gave (and left) everything out there on that Tuesday evening
