I'll have my rant and then wait for next week so.... I'm sick of seeing every goal and thinking that a Premier league keeper should be stopping that. Meslier is 6'5" and was chipped today when he was 3 yards off his line. The corner came in, he decided to come for it, then changed his mind and was caught out. He didn't even get off the ground. Add that to his positioning against Fulham, the Everton goal, the one that went inbetween his hands at Scum and beat at his near post vs scum at home. Poor keeping recently. I'm sick of seeing teams trying to wind up Tyler Adams and him reacting like a little bitch. Either ****ing knock him out or roll your sleeves up and get on with the game. I'm sick of watching Jack Harrison with his head in his hands after another overhit pass, free kick, corner, cross. Just compose yourself and put it in the danger area. I'm sick of Gnonto trying to argue with the ref with his arms outstretched instead of rolling his sleeves up and getting back in to position. I'm also sick of his petulant pushes on other players. ****ing get on with it. I'm sick of Bamford full stop. Terrible player which is bad enough but happy to throw his teammates and coaches under the bus to the press. What does that do for morale? I'm sick of Aaronsons physical weakness. Im already sick of watching Rutter get played around by opposition and instead of working harder just standing there with his arms outstretched as if to say "where is everyone else?". I'm sick of the team as a whole for not shooting hard and low on target. I'm sick of trying to play the ball out from our own goal kicks when everyone is already marked. Right, on to next week.
I dunno. At one point at Leicester we were 2-0 down and yet Leicester had only had 1 shot on target. We are spectacularly bad.
Is xG the most pointless piece of information ever thought of? You can’t score 0.94 of a goal, you either score one or nothing. I expected none so got the number I expected. My last word on the matter. I will completely ignore anymore XG bollocks.
No critisicm from me for today's performance. We were better than at Forest and much better than at Everton and that's against a team with about a billion pounds of talent. Poor goal to give away which ruined an otherwise sound game plan and can't really remember much from Chelsea after they went in front. What else ? We're looking like a team that will thrash someone soon...(that's just for you Emu)
Was thinking the other day Leicester players may be thinking about a move. So they are not trying as much. Seen it happen a lot in football.
