Great player but the right decision for him and the club. Massive Summer coming for us, I expect to see the following definitely leave
Ox
Bobby
Millie
Naby
Phillips
And the following probably need moving on
Gomez
Matip
It is a difficult ask to effect that much change in one window, especially as there is little sell on value in these players
But it needs to be done and who knows which of the many supposed targets we will get

I think if we are being ruthless, then I think he is one of the players we can sell who would bring in some good money.

Joe was brilliant during that period in 18/19 alongside VVD - one of the best defensive runs I've ever seen. But I fear that was just a purple patch for Joe, and he's reverted back to his true form - which is inconsistent, needs hand holding and not good in the air. Combined with the fact he's injury prone, I think we can upgrade.

We can certainly upgrade and cash in on him but it's definitely not as priority either

Gomez is ALSO HH don’t forget (maybe even club trained) so has a lot of value there. If losing ox Phillips Gomez Milner that’s a lot of home grown players to replace

Bajcetic and Elliott will be HG in time but not for another year or two

Obviously the HG observations are valid and have to play a factor in some of the decisions... We can't toss every HG player who isn't perfect.

That said, if we have the HG spots to spare, we can do better than Gomez. His HG status is only thing that would keep him in the squad if I were Klopp.

With Milner getting old and Ox leaving... And Jones likely never going to be good enough, HG counts a lot right now. (How many more seasons does Henderson have?)

Elliott and Bajcetic will be HG players soon. Harvey already qualifies but is still young enough to not be named in the squad

They have to be over 21.

soon is a relative term here.

We are losing phillips, kellher (probably), ox and milner.

We only registered 23 players for this season in the prem and 7 HG players. we will lose 4 this year.

Trent, gomez and henderson will be left. We can add jones to the list. will will sadly be adding rhys williams to that list as well even though hes worse than phillips. why? HG quota.

We need to be very clear here. We won't be able to register any more that 17 foreign players so HG coming in is a must

IMO:

GK: adrian leaves and we try to get a cheap ****ty no 3 in and we will promote davies (he is only 19 so won't count) If kelleher goes of course)
CB: Williams added
Ramasy - won't be HG anyway i think but is 19 now.
Bajcetic is 18 won't be hg for 3 years more!
elliott is 19
carvalho is 20 - he won't be hg next season.

4 out, I see 2 in. this is not a great situation to be in but its a 2 season issue.

BTW bellingham is 19. he must must must either stay in germany for HG or move now to england to have a chance at HG in england. I think 1 season u21 and then he is HG in 2 seasons time (for you bellingham lovers)

theres HUGE scope for FSG to cheap this out and try get guys to extend (keita, matip and milner) or to buy players.
