He's a great young manager, and I really like his style of play! Anyone else think he would be a good replacement. I think it might be more likely he come to hull than leicester as he wouldn't have to relocate family. Also a good chance he could bring Jordan Rhodes with him!!

No he won't leave Huddersfield. He already turned down Leicester before all this began, so i doubt he;ll come here.

he rejected leicester due the dodgy thai owners. he said he wants to work for a stable ownership which he considered huddersfield to be more than leicester.

Pep Guardiola is also a hot young manager and has about as much interest managing us as Clarke has!

correct.... but i think city have a better chance of getting lee clark than Pepi as he has already said that he will take a year out of the game when he leaves barcelona(whenever that day comes).

I think there are far bigger reasons why we won't get Pep.

And Clarke said that he is happy with Huddersfield and would not leave them, not that it had anythin g to do with the owners, did you actually read his statement/interviews?

yes he did and thats why. for what its worth he will stay @ huddersfield for this season at least.

So Lee Clark is on record as saying "I don't want to work for Leicester's dodgy Thai owners..." and yet they're not considering legal action against him...

Hmmm...

On topic anyway - I'd rather we didn't have anyone like Lee Clarke. I think it's ****ty to the extreme to take another club's manager mid season. I'll support whoever we get, but if the new guy leaves a club like NP is leaving us, it will be an equal level of ****itude as NP has shown us...

Just for ther record, Hull is exectly 13 miles closer from Huddersfield than Lester is. Hardly a deal breaker on not moving your family.

This is on the assumption that Clarke lives in Wessieland, if he already lives in Hull then i accept your point.

I like Lee Clark, always thought he was an excellent footballer. If he came here, I'd be happy with him but I'm not at all fussed if he doesn't. He's a young manager and he's had a lot of success at Huddersfield but not a lot of managers reproduce success at another club. I'd imagine the stats are against it happening.

Pep lined up for Man Utd i would suggest ? no other club worth leaving barcelona for is there ?

ssn / various papers / various webs. i think it was in the yorks post had him quoted as saying that he could not work for owners who were hire and fire merchants and that he owed the Huddersfield owner promotion. good on him i say.
NP wants his BIG pay off so good luck to NP in getting it. end of.

Always the optimist
