Howe won't win a cup at Newcastle unless we play a worse side. This has been going on for 60 ****ing years and we ain't caught on yet screenshot this ****, I want to be wrong I dont give a ****
Wasn't to be, they just had that bit more quality. I'm not going to pick out individual performances. I think they all gave everything, but some just aren't quite at that level. But I believe it will come. Fans did us proud though, the flags and singing at the end, despite being 2-0 down was great to see. Hope those who got tickets this time still managed to enjoy it. Let's hope there are more opportunities for the rest of us to enjoy Wembley in the near future. Let's remember, it really wasn't long ago that we'd just be worried about surviving relegation. TOON, TOON
I get that, but haven't been convinced by recent performances that he's currently able to play as an out and out striker - might have been better with him instead of Almiron though
Good performance until we got to the final third. It is what it is but their big game experience and clinical finishing had us. We go again!
Miles better ... the 1st goal went against the run of play. Today was way ahead of schedule.... All we wanted was a club that tries , but here we are listening to Roland expecting us to me real Madrid 12 months in
Exactly - you only need to look at respective benches to see how far Man Utd are ahead of us as a squad overall
Why so much nagativity FFS,? Yes, OK, we lost. To Man United. in a cup final. We've only had 3 transfer windows since the takeover and people EXPECT us to be lifting a cup already. The fact we were in a final at all is a massive bonus. 14 months ago we were bottom of the league. All I asked for this season wad a cup run. And got it. No we didn't win, but FFS the world hasn't ended.
If we are to progress at all, we need 4-5 signings in the next window, minimum. If it takes us 6 months to sign 2, you know the owners arent all in
I mean it is about 300 million spent in those windows though Joelinton is still our best player and he signed under Bruce
