I know , but they have tied up all the rights . I want. To listen to TMS , yes I’m aware it’s BBC and they have to watch the pennies because they have to cater for lots of different types of programme , so I get they can’t throw money at it like others , but no TMS ?
TMS have all the home test's I believe. Which is the right way round. TBH how much are you missing when play starts at 1am UK time!
To answer your last question , not often unless I can’t sleep which I am struggling with currently . I refuse to comment on your first bit , as I may make myself appear daft
Jasper, this is not aimed at you in any way, but someone once said that it is better to keep quiet and make people think you're daft, as opposed to saying something and removing all doubt.
Harry Brook is pretty extraordinary. He's basically a good over from pushing his career Test strike rate above a run a ball.
England may have a good chance of winning this test, courtesy of some rather good batting, nothing spectacular, apart from the speed at which they scored - 374 in 74 overs. The England bowling has been impressive, not to say amazing. As I write this, NZ are 62-5, in danger of losing this inside three days
After some resistance from Mitchell and Tickner, Jimmy cleans up Tickner with a Jaffa. NZ 126 ao, England win by 267 runs.
New Hants contract for Donald. Yet to really see the best of him due to injury but he showed flashes last season of how dangerous a batter he is. Ironically he flopped in T20 though which his game should suit on paper. But very happy with this news.
Very pleasing news. I think he tries too hard in t20. Tries to live up to his reputation too much - whereas he has the talent to start slow, and cash in later. That said, if McDermott returns, it's difficult to see him playing much t20 this season either. (My assumption has always been that McDermott and Ellis would both return, but I'm starting to wonder maybe they won't because why we wouldn't have announced it yet. I know we still have three months until our first group game, but if they were coming back, why wait?)
England today are 41-3 after 9 overs. Past England teams would be, I reckon, 18-2. I know what I'd rather be on.
