He's lucky 'Arry has to rest up, otherwise he'd be down there like a shot to give him a slap. Then again Joe Jordan is meant to be covering for him, isn't he?
 
A Public order offence could be anything, from shouting and swearing, to urinating where you shouldn't. Which reminds me, I was walking home late from the pub the other night, and I spotted this bloke legs apart, one hand held straight out leaning against a front door slashing away like a horse, I thought 'thats charming!' He then proceeded to take his key out of his pocket and went in! <yikes>

Of all our academy graduates, I'd say he's the brightest. I've said for a few years ever since I saw him at the lane in a FA youth tie against the goons he'd have a bright future and thus far, he's actually proving me right (on the pitch that is!). Won all end of season awards at Yeovil, won BCFC Young player of the year and prior to his injury was starting all of Swansea's games and didn't look out of place. The fact he's not even 20 yet shows that there's definitely something special about him in my opinion.

Yes he should be dealt with, perhaps a fine but he'd be far too good to release/ sell just because he's been a silly lad. Plus all that's been stated is a public order offence, the actual details haven't been released (unless I've missed it). It could be something really minor like notso said, not that I'm saying it's right but I doubt he's the next Joey Barton.
 
I hear what you say, S or S? However, the key (for Harry) is going to be whether or not this criminal act is an out-of-character one-off fall from grace or if it's the culminating act in a pattern of ill-discipline.

We all know that Harry is extremely Victorian with regard to his expectations of how his players, especially his younger charges, should behave. He seems to abhor even mild forms of ill-discipline.
 
SoS, add a glowing assessment from David James who he played in front of at Bristol, harry would have taken note of that.

On the other subject, we need to know what he did exactly, a public order offence could be anything.

At best, it's going to be taking a piss in a public place, at worst, it's going to be having a punch up in a public place. Either way, it's likely to have involved booze, something that Harry has, on copious occasions, made absolutely clear he will not tolerate.

Fair point HIAG. But then (although not a youngster) when Ledley was caught fighting the bouncer outside a night club after having a booze-fulled session, Redknapp still played him the weekend after the news broke out. I think Redknapp said he'd be dealt with accordingly, so I assume a slap on the wrist or fine was handed out, something I expect him to do with Caulker, or perhaps for the time being he'll allow Swansea to deal with it and let them judge on a course of action as I presume it's them paying his wages for the duration of his loan so they have every right to decide on what to do in my opinion.
 
Had Ledley not been the Spurs legend that he his, I'm sure Harry would have come down harder on him.
 
When he was on loan at Yeovil or Bristol City there was no record of him being arrested or acting like a right YEF (I'm trying to make Young English Footballer the new NED, just go with it...), and the same can be said for when he's been at tournaments with the England U19s.

If, as is likely, he'd had a few too many it's likely a one-off - although I couldn't help wonder if it's also a sign that his knee has healed up so he'll be playing again soon.
