Quite a lot of sympathy and goodwill here for Neil Critchley and I wish him well too. He will likely flourish elsewhere. We need a manager with backbone, passion, energy bordering on aggression when needed (hair drier!), a good tactician and one who is not afraid to make subs earlier in the game if required. That's probably Wilder if we can afford him. Overall win rate as a manger 43.5%. Just a crazy thought (because he would lick our prima donnas into shape) - Roy Keane anyone?!
Ramsey in line for caretaker too apparently, maybe a partnership? Did hear that Hall was pretty pissed off he didn't get longer after Judas left....supposed to be a decent coach
After seeing the responses I had to go back to this post. I thought you'd said it would be Paul Hart.
With all your recent form from what you've heard from mates that are in the know, we can safely say it won't be Hall lol
Can't believe so many want Jones, the bloke isn't only a class A **** he's a ****ing Raving lunatic. Have people not heard his post match comments shortly before he was sacked from Southampton ? Completely got found out in the Prem , yes he did OK at Luton but I wouldn't want the tool anywhere near our dug out. For me if we don't manage yo entice a young foreign coach then it has to be Ainsworth. Its gonna happen one day, so might aswell be now. He deserves the chance at a higher level, and will deal with having no money to spend. The football won't be pretty but boy he has some passion and the fans love him. For the rest of this season , hopefully stay up and take it from there. 1 1/2 year contract which can be extended. Also I'd like to see Derry involved somewhere, possibly as a defensive coach, or just to smash a few skulls in tge dressing room from any sulky brats that aren't pulling their weight !
Firstly…what manager in his right mind would want to come to us….honestly Secondly…we can’t afford Jack Sh**e Finally…read the two point above over and over and over We need a hard ass, no nonsense, up the jacksie manager.
Forget Wilder, his wage demands and demands for money for new players make him a non starter. Don't think I'd want him either really, yes he did s great job at Sheff Utd, but once teams had worked out how his teams play , they became easy pickings. Took the sake to style to Boro with alit of money spent and they were serious under achievers. Look at their form since they got rid of him and brought in Carrick. Do we really want a manager who thought it was a good idea to bring in Lumley as number 1 keeper ?
I kind of hope that it is Paul Hall until the end of the season, then look around. We probably only need three wins and three draws out of 14 games to stay up, so it shouldn't be too much of a gamble. Clear out the **** loans in the summer and start again with a new manager.
I'd like to agree, but your purporting 12 points in 14 games. We've take only 9 in our last 17. One win, six draws, Ten defeats!
