We won’t win, and will have to come back to reality.

We have been struggling to win against the mid-lower table sides so expecting it to be a hard slog against Liverpool as well.

Good news is that you don't think you are a mid-lower table side so leave Alexander-Arnold-sized holes at the back.

    Hmmmmmmm.

I assume we'll do better cos the team looked pretty knackered on Sat and Howe will be savvy enough to give them a rest, Joey is a machine and can run all day, but Miggy, Willock and ASM looked blown.

These days without Bruno are really dragging...

He played well yesterday, albeit Everton offered nothing going forward.

Hendo actually did the job he did for 3 years when we were quality in that he dropped into that rb slot to cover so hoping it’s not a one off as look far more solid when that happens.

Wondering if fact you haven’t won in a while will put more pressure on you guys to come out and try win which may make it a much more open game which atm will suit us as can hit on the counter.

How about we get the 3 points in this game and you can win the cup game next weekend? seems a fair deal <whistle>

As much as I'd snap your hand off for that, sadly you have no control over the later, so I expect something decent from us here to get us back into the mood for the final....however in converse us being naff up to the final may also work and get Man U complacent for when we re introduce Bruno.

I can't really call Liverpool right now, diabolical since Xmas then won a game last night, but Everton looked so bloody awful that I'm not sure what you can conclude from that game...

    I would take that.

There is an assumption that we are drawing because we are not attacking. That's not generally the case though. We have been creating plenty of chances but not taking them. We have lacked some creativity without Guimares in midfield but hopefully with Gordon getting up to speed we have a different type of attacking option.

    Should be a good game.

A different type of attacking options - is that the new slang for a **** that dives? <whistle>

Tbf, bit similar to us. Even when we were losing loads, we still created a few chances just couldn’t put them away. Problem is we were then conceding goals where as you guys haven’t which is why despite fact we’ve lost 6 more then you, we could be within touching distance in a weeks time (or coukd be 12 behind and out the CL <laugh>)

    But why?

Klopp too cultured to play dirty? Maybe so, Liverpool look like a one trick pony these days that people have sussed out.

True but most other clubs don’t start a thread claiming everyone is against them it’s all a conspiracy that other clubs are allowed to get away with it against them <whistle>

It will be a struggle without Bruno again.

I hate to say it but we do look like a one man team, we haven't won this season without him.

    Battling draw.

I spent last night reading your match thread and all you were doing was blaming the ref .

Would you like the screenshots? Or do you yield?

Depends on standing really, a point flattered Palace and Leeds and they were lucky to get one, Vs West Ham a point each was fair, Vs Arsenal and Bournemouth we rode our luck a bit to get a point tbh.

The thing in our favour here is Liverpool's all-out attack combined with their awful midfield and shaky defence will in theory be the perfect team for a high press team like us to play against.

Salah looked pretty sharp and hasn't scored in 6, we all know what's happening on Sat.
