Yay! :1980_boogie_down:1-1

Rak-Sakyi gets us back in it - better late than never, like this thread <laugh>

Inniss sent off AGAIN :emoticon-0121-angry Three times in one season FFS <doh>

Disappointing. Fleetwood and then Forest Green on Tuesday. A chance to improve our season stats.

Unfortunately we now have the lowest number of 3rd tier points (after this number of games played) in the modern "3 points for a win" era.
Despite winning 4 of our last 6 games.
A measure of how truly dire this season as a whole has been.

Fleetwood's second goal was the softest you'll ever see. Our defence went totally AWOL at a corner, nobody within 2 yards and he didn't have to jump. That killed it for us.

That was a rubbish performance which got the result it deserved. Our decision making and passing were poor all over the pitch, and the Rak-Sakyi goal was one of the very few times we worked the ball into their area and finished with a shot on target. Fleetwood for all their faults often finished their attacks with a shot. Really was a very poor afternoon.

WAtched the rugby in a pub at London Bridge afterwards, which was great, then on to The Festival Hall to see Transatlantic Sessions, which is the best of Scottish Irish and Blue Grass musicians, with a surprise appearance of Eric Clapton, which was even better. By the time I got home I completely forgot about the afternoon's ****eshow.<somersault>

Shurely the ****eshow ish to be expected :emoticon-0148-yes:

Is he the first Charlton player ever to be sent off three times in one season?

I can't think of another one.

And the season isn't over yet! An unbeatable record is within his clumsy grasp!!

Mind you, I'm not convinced that was a red yesterday.

I've read a bottle was thrown during/after this game and it hit the referee?
If true, the Club will be in trouble.

Seemingly the behaviour of some of our fans is deteriorating generally according to other snippets I've seen.
Perhaps this is happening at a lot of Clubs.
Difficult and mean times bring out difficult and mean people.

Dean Holden sounded very downbeat after the game. I reckon he'll be off soon if the ownership farce isn't sorted ahrt.

Holden's dead cat bounce was shorter than Johnnie Jackson's.
After 4 wins in 5 games I was wondering if Holden could be compared eventually with Bowyer or Powell, who both bucked the long trend of our decline at least briefly in 2012 & 2019 respectively.
Seems I wondered too soon.

Happens with every manager. Makes you wonder if the problem could lie elsewhere in the club<whistle>.
