He definately would, but this season? That's what the owners will expect from him and after an average start in a league notoriously difficult to be consistent in it will prove a big task. Having said that i'd be surprised if they didn't get play-offs under him.

Definitely would? I'm not so sure. Probably... but not definitely...

Look at his record with both Cities...

Young players brought through, and his results are second to none. When he's had to go out and spend money... Don't get me wrong I respect the likes of Mclean... but it's safe to say he didn't hit the ground running.

I just feel that the LCFC fans are glad to have him back because of what he achieved there, but not much attention has been paid to how he achieved it. I don't think the current demands at Leicester match where his skills lie.

I may yet be proven wrong.

The fact is, they're all under contract. NP may well have to be back in for them - but just because he wants them, doesn't mean he'll get them, and even if they wanted to join him, it's a seller's market. They have to meet the price - which both AP and NP have been bigging up in recent months. what was it on Humberside the other week... Burnsey mentioned as NP was passing that we had a £15m squad according to AP - NP then shouted back that he thought it was more.

Fair enough numbnuts... if that's what you think, that's what you and your thai masters will now pay.

NP remit will be to get Lesta up this season, so he will be looking for tried and tested players to push for this in January, not our youngsters. I think we will need to be more worried about losing players to them in the close season, once they know whether they are in EPL or pushing for it next season.

In fairness, i think i'd get Leicester promoted if given a few years (and a proper backroom staff). NP's a top manager and the way he sets up his teams is designed to get promoted, if he makes their defence as difficult to break down as ours then with the money he has to go and get a top striker and a couple of wingers we'd be seeing them in the Prem before long IMO. But if he only has this season to do it then there's obviously more chance of failure.

I stand by what i said but you could prove to be right, if he's still there in a couple of years and hasn't got them promotion i'll eat my words. But i don't think it'll come to that, one way or another

I think there's no chance. Next year Molde will be trying to get in the Champions League...

I agree and I would hope we have a clause that NP cannot come back for any of our players in January. In the summer he well may raid our talent but the thing is he will have to pay top dollar so although we may lose players, we will most certainly make a tidy profit!

No matter what we may think, Leicester are a bigger club with more resources, we are just going to have to deal with it and move on, which I'm confident we will do

I have only one reservation I can't say "Ole Gunnar Solskjær" all in one go. I end up having to start again near the end and for that reason I'm out!

he also goes by the name of ""The Child Assassin"" during his time @ man utd. is that any better ?

You are my Solskjaer, my only Solskjaer
You make me happy when skies are grey
Alan Shearer cost f***ing dearer
So dont take my Solskjaer away

"Ole Gunnar Solskjær's super black and amber army"
Try singing that after a few pints.

Is Nigel P£ar$ons agent Bullard by any chance :)
However I feel the Leicester game may have a few chants "Theres only one greedy B******"

Solskjaer would be a good option if the club are looking for someone up and coming. He'll have experience of playing under one of the greatest managers the game has seen, is a respected figure in the game in this country, it would keep the Man United link going and with him being a striker we might see some improvement in front of goal. Yet a minority of fans would probably still moan at him/the appointment!
