Not sure it'll make a world of difference, expanding the Gallowgate End will add what 5-10k seats? You could sell 20k extra season tickets atm. Good news though - any improvement is welcome but long term I think they need to just pay off the council and accidentally knockdown Leaze Terrace...

62k stadium would be good enough IMO.

Don't get me wrong it'd be better but will there be enough tickets to satisfy demand? Maybe they turn the Gallowgate into safe-standing and they can pack in 65k?

It could be a good thing to slowly increase the size and make sure SJP is filled instead of just pushing from 52k - 80k for example and only filling 70k seats.

Some clubs have 70k+ seater stadiums and that cannot satisfy demand. You just gotta do the best you can. I think what's best is if they do extend the stadium, don't offer out anymore season tickets. 30k is more than enough, and give more people a shot with memberships and gen sale.

Agree with this.

Don’t want anymore people having season tickets and affecting my chances of getting a Cup Final ticket.

I also strongly agree with this!

But only on the condition that Trev can get a spare Carabao Cup Final ticket and he gives it to me.

This would only work if the ratio of seat to standing was 1:1.7 like in the bundesliga.
In England we are currently restricted to 1:1.

I would hazard a guess it won't only be an expansion but also the entire ground and match day experience they'll improve...
