Lol All credit to your club and before I start this - I don’t believe there should be restrictions The bigger financial clubs have their noses out of joint because a bigger shark has come along All a matter of perspective to me but Rule = 8m Leicester spent more than that Spent more than your peers who stuck to the rule You guys didn’t - either knowingly or intentionally (and I repeat I don’t think there should be a rule but there was) The rule was broken end of You cheated end of BUT you got away with it Largely cause you didn’t get relegated and the league couldn’t be arsed as no one except me was bothered lol I also think that Leicester is a really really well run club And I really admire a lot of what they do but they still cheated imho and nothing will ever change that But they aren’t the first and they aren’t the last I don’t like the way clubs got away with stuff in 80s - including my own But my opinion matters not one iota and it doesn’t change my love for the game I wish this **** with City would stop - so they have millions - same as Newcastle good luck to em, other clubs have had their time in the sun
Fine post ... nowt to disagree with ...yes indeed, we stretched the parameters, no doubt ... but I suspect what we did would pale into insignificance if serious investigations were to take place into the shenanigans of some of the 'bigger' clubs ...
Just realised which one it is. Same folks that blew Ronaldo up for being a rapist. https://www.spiegel.de/internationa...nts-emerge-in-rape-allegations-a-1241349.html
you say stretched the parameters I say a different word but agree with the rest lol I wondered if I was talking **** tbh so thought I would have a look at teams in the top league since 1980 to see how many are there from this season 1980 14 1990 12 2000 13 2010 12 2020 17 So for all of the greatest league in the world - anyone can work their way up to the top stuff that’s spoken by fans of the bigger clubs the truth is that top league - since money has been injected - sadly doesn’t change all that much (and yes what Leicester did was an achievement but equally so was what Klopp did for different reasons - ie the level of performance they had to put in to win that title against City) The old guard teams are afraid of the Newcastles, The Cities, The Chelsea’s Because they have taken the game a whole step further and they don’t like it I keep hearing from rational people how they are cheating and breaking rules etc and saying yeah but these oil clubs are doing stuff and it will ruin the game etc The game is already ruined from that perspective it happened the moment Trevor Francis signed for a million - tbh it was on its way at that point Money is the problem imho If you want an honest game goto your grass roots local - like proper local club but even they get corrupted. My local team were paying for players to come from another town lol it’s bonkers even if you went to a blissful utopian society and said you had to be from the local area to sign for your club that still would t be fair because cities have a far greater catchment area than a rural club. there is no solution - however the ESL is not such a bad idea imho - said this a few times let the greedy clubs **** off and do there own thing People will or won’t vote with their feet But never let those clubs return to domestic football if they leave end of I wouldn’t watch a ESL and I might not be able to watch my club again so I would either have to find a new club or have a look at my own parameters of acceptance. no one liked Burnley last season All wishing them to go down but they were a well run club - with players who would run through a brick wall for their gaffa. didn’t bother me - good on em anyway rambling now I am off to watch Columbo
Watching - The most crucial game Robert Culp did it and Columbo gonna nail the ****er - he already knows he’s done the deed lmao
Many brown envelopes will have changed hands, and many all expenses paid trips to Dubai will have occurred, before any decisions are made.
It's big news right now but will fade in time and in many years time when some of us on here are dead they'll get a fine.
The nations second club is playing tonight guys. Catch us on the TV later on this evening. God bless you all.
