How I imagine City players getting stripped of their PL medals.

If Liverpool got done for doping it would be a nightmare trying to get those runners up medals back. Let's hope Tottenham don't have to have their name scrubbed from the "top 4 trophy" they've been clinging onto for years.

Are you using this to deflect the fact youve spent almost as much as city and face relegation?

    Might just work

I couldn’t catch my breath when reading it. Got a call from Klopp to see if I still had my boots.

The Premier League was founded on the basis of greed. The huge income from TV revenue, which is why they broke away, then went about allowing inflated transfer fees and allowing teams to hand out obscene wages. The whole lot should have been capped decades ago.

When you got teams paying £80M for players like Harry Maguire, you know people are taking the piss and the system is fooked. Then the bottom end of the Prem with the parachute payments, which divide the ability of other teams to compete in the Championship and below, still at least Leicester did well out of it, and a Prem title, and now have their grand idea of share debt.

Fooking Prem needs to get its own house in order. Let's not forget if it wasn't for supporter protests, the big six would have cleared off by now, because they don't want a promotion and relegation tier system, they just want all the money for themselves and truth be known they probably still do.

None of it has helped the England National team either, we are still cheering on donkeys like Harry Kane who has never won a club or national trophy.

We saw the real self interest lengths these football clubs will go to to win, see Liverpool FC during covid * - Then the Chelsea era funded by a Russian gangster, even when they should have gone under, the government bent over backwards for help them.

Even Newcastle have now joined the greedy elite, with new owners probably more interested in horse racing than horse punchers. At least Spurs got their NFL stadium.

All this with City is about where you choose to point the finger at first. I've probably missed out a few teams but bored now.

In short you are all complicit. God bless America. :bandit:

<laugh> we won the Prem with a squad that cost £20 million ... having got promoted from the Championship with a squad that cost under £12 million ... having come from League 1 with a squad that cost less than £8 million ... no parachute payments in our success ... that had long gone

Harry Maguire was worth every penny mate ... without him we would not have won the FA Cup ... he single handedly financed the purchases of Tielemans and Perez ... the combination for that FA Cup winning goal <laugh>

It was interesting reading the allegations against City, one being the inflated sponsorship - only reason it caught my eye was because when our new owner came in, I think all our transfers were undisclosed fees, and we'd had lots of queries about sponsorship. Bearing in mind we will also have to keep an eye on fair play rules, as we are only use to having 4k attendances, last Saturday was sold out! (9317) <laugh> The whole game is fooked.
