It’s all about opinions, imo he’s been one of our best and consistent players this season, Pring hasn’t even been playing for much of the season for a start. Atkinson likewise , and he has a rik in him also. That’s not even mentioning the amount of riks Naismith has. Bell, I rate him but he’s only played a couple of games, Wells, and Max I agree are among the best also. Oh as is Scott. Conway has done well, but again will have missed a good few games.
He’s been way and apart our best defender this season, most improved player without a doubt, arguably amongst the best players, which in itself is no mean feat, considering he was almost on his way out. Well done Lad, I say.
I didn't mean my comment as a criticism - more a compliment. He's come on leaps and bounds - and that is testiment to his mental attitude too - he must have read all the criticisms of him on the various chatrooms as well as being aware of his own mistakes, but instead of letting his head drop, or kicking back against the critics, he's addressed his failings in the best way possible - by knuckling down and working hard. Absolutely well done the lad.
wont be long before NP decides to play someone else in someone elses position and the harmony stops! HIS WORDS... doing the business then no need to change unless injury or ban .... Imagine drop Vyner for Kalas and we lose to a team below us by 1 or 2 or even 3 goals!...... end of season finish 7th on GD!
I agree with that statement, they all have a rick in them including Scott!! Vyner is last man so will always be subject to criticism by some, but imo he is learning by his mistakes and has improved without question... I noticed that on quite a few occasions James gave the ball away, allowing Preston to add to the pressure we were under.....but nothing said there.....
Vyner is slow and can't turn.... Your mistaking him for Atkinson. I've seen cargo ships turn quicker than he does...
Preston North End forward receives four-game ban after FA review incident in Bristol City clash The forward reacted angrily to an off-the-ball altercation in the 79th minute of the contest that saw the 19-year-old midfielder fall to the turf holding his face https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-preston-forward-ban-8134411
I watched the game and thought Evans was a nasty tackler and I wondered about the incident not being punished during the match, but he finally got his comeuppance. The idea of retribution upon review is a good thing unless it penalizes City, and I seem to remember Kodjia or Diedhou getting an after the match ban for spitting at an opponent. Both incidents were well punished.
