It's like the so-called "West Ham way" that no-one can explain

Always cringe at the "they love a striker up there" comment about the mags as if that's something unusual

"Strikers? Nah, ****ing hate them mate"

up there with when, say England are playing a big game, and the day before the England correspondent says **** like "the players look relaxed", what do people expect, them to be sat in the corner rocking.

I still can’t believe City let Cancelo leave. Absolute bonkers.
Strange one that. Souness just made a point about some of them on the bench who would be starters normally and if Pep is trying to make a point that they need to toe the line. Wonder if the dressing room is a bit off atm.

Something not right there currently. I can’t believe Dias and De Bruyne aren’t starting today.

Reactions: Oliver's Army
Ref giving Spurs **** all. How's that not a freekick for the foul on Hoijberg? Grealish should be booked as well.

Are you sure it isn't:

They love a goalscorer?

That's what I recall it as which is an even sillier thing to say!

The Man City situation is utterly bizarre. 25 goals in 20 games from Haaland this season in the league but City are arguably worse with him in the team.
He's made about 20 runs and they are passing about playing 5/10 yard passes when he could be through in goal. Bizarre.

Spurs have been excellent here so far. Got a feeling its not over yet though.
