I never had money to invest directly in stocks and shares but I was sensible enough to put some of my hard earned into a pension fund to avoid relying on other people to keep me in my older age. I don’t think I’m shafting anyone. In other news, that company that forecast a deficit this year, last year forecast a surplus so as they got that wrong why do the BBC think they are going to be right this year?
I've never seen it (true), and that won't change tomorrow or the day after or the day after or... The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I can’t imagine why you’d think I said you were. Unless you’re the CEO of Shell, or similar, in which case you can get ****ed
To be fair, that's sort of interesting to see how embedded violent language is. By far the worst one is 'kick his / her (*) head in'. In my day it used to be metaphorical. Now, horrendously, it's taken literally. This really is one phrase that should now be banned, or at least stopped being used. (* multiple other variants are apparently available)
