Brother lives there, one of the lads that meets up for drinks is from there too....... Not the name I normally call it, I tend to put the windows down in the tyne tunnel for fresh air afterwards
I think the lad is Ben? I've spoken to him about it on here. I'll know them or at least their faces if I ever see them.
They have ... my middle girl went out to Singapore, the Gilis, Bali and Thailand in October (after finishing her Masters at Cardiff University)... Thailand is positively bouncing and she even popped in to the Leicester City club shop at Bangkok Airport ... which appears to attract a great deal of interest from foreign tourists ...
The £194 million loans financed the training complex and the women's team infrastructure developments .. suspect the stadium expansion will be similar ... forms part of the asset base that an acquisition vehicle would get buying he shares of the football club company in future ... makes total economic sense ...
I was generally surprised at the lack of Leicester city shirts on display in Thailand considering. Loads of locals wearing the normal Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Barca ones and even saw a fella outside the presidential palace with a Charlton one (turned out his brother lives there!) and I never saw a Leicester shirt on any of the street stalls.
Mate ... we obviously aren't going to be as street popular as the big boys ... so no surprise there ... there are shirts on the Thai market stalls if you look carefully enough ... the biggest impact since winning the title has been the social media impact in Thailand (and South East Asia generally) ... we are now well known whereas, before King Power took us over, few would have known where Leicester was ... Couldn't be more happy with our owners... they have transformed the football club from top to bottom and contribute hugely to many social and welfare projects in the City... they also don't appear to be looking for an 'out' as the statement from the Chairman yesterday and the financial initiative shows ...
I did think that lol. Because of my job I do spend more time than the average person, sitting in airport lounges. As a result, I end up going in the shops that I would never normally, just to kill time
