In a different Union - NAHT, our pay and conditions are decent so not justified - which puts paid to this right wing notion everyone goes out on strike bcos they feel like it. We still support the cause against the underfunding in schools.
Agree about the homework, but if we don't give work then we're open to a charge of not caring by the bods in charge. Day off for the kids imo - teacher's job to make sure they catch up f'sure.
