Yeah the 3 CB is a real head scratcher. If we as moronic fans can see it then you think it’s a guarantee that the coaches and manager can see it, no idea why we ever line up with it as it always has us chasing the game after the inevitable early goal we concede

If you look back,I was so anti Jones on December . He got us a great result against City. Remember, when we last a good team. Oh, I remember 2016, we finished 6th. But no you ****ers wanted Koemam sacked in January before winni h 12 games in 18.

As much as we think we do, we know **** all about football. I wanted to hang Jones from the City walls after the Forest defeat, but maybe he has something.

I think now we are ****ed if we do and ****ed if we don't, maybe it might help if we give him some encouragement

Pleased that we didn’t capitulate and lose by more.
Sick to the back teeth with playing 3 CBs, as it doesn’t make us defensively stronger but makes us demonstrably weaker in midfield.
Need to work on our crossing choices though.
Early second half Perraud has a chance to hammer it low across the 6 yard line for Adarma at the back post and maybe force an OG, but cuts a poor pass back towards Che, chance gone.
Edozie at the end hits it into the melee of Newcastle defenders in the 6 yard box when there were two players running in for a cut back.
Awareness.

It's a forum where people are supposed to express views, your opinion is as valid as his, wind it in. None of us are that happy with the results. Let's just agree we need to stay up.

My final word on this. I picked him up for banging on and on about the team selection and setup throughout the game.

I made a lighthearted jibe to Tom, who I have met personally, about the repetitive nature of his comment - not a word of criticism about the view itself or a wish that he didn't express it at all - and you decided to jump in with a little snark. Even now, we have "wind it in", which also seems a tad snappy. Would you talk like that if we were having a chat face to face? I would certainly have made the jibe to Tom if we'd been watching the match together. (To be clear, you're utterly and totally welcome to express your opinion and, equally, I'm more than happy to clarify the problem I have with the way you have chosen to express your opinion.)

I do, however, agree wholeheartedly that it would be quite lovely to stay up.

I accept I lost my head tonight, particularly in the first half. I was just so frustrated with how we started tonight and the team selection. And I was banging on about Jones but it's hard to stay away from him when continues to try and force his favoured formation onto the players.

You were a knob to Tom just then, and got called out. It is what it is.

Well that was a bit ****. Tie was done after 20 mins and although we had some moments it was all too little too late.

Newcastle deserved winners over the two games comfortably. Hope they win it.

What on Earth was Jones thinking giving Bree his debut here? I'll never understand Lavia playing 80 mins on Saturday either. Bizarre decision making.

On a positive note managed to meet up with @fatletiss at HT as he was one row and 20ish seats away from me.

Then, perhaps, you are not the right person to be a mod, if you can not control your emotions. Football is an emotional game and we need calm people at the helm

Massive fair play for making the trip. <applause> All those who did deserve some kind of loyalty bonus TBH. I think you'll have a laugh reading this thread back.

Spoiler alert: I lose my ****. <laugh>

Ok maybe I jumped the gun, life is too short to squabble on this forum

Everyone loses their temper from time to time. Chilco has in the past. I can carry out my mod duties perfectly well thank you.
