Proven goal scorers don't necessarily work either mate. Grigg for example.
Fair play, you're not wrong. I just don't think this lad looks like a Stewart replacement. I'll hold my hands up if he signs and proves me wrong.

This tells you what kind of value Ballard should have

Probably a load of bollocks anyway.2 goals in 14 appearances in the Premier League 2 is canny ****e like, not gonna lie. Think we've got better in our U21's, unless this is actually a permanent transfer for our development squad. Can't imagine this one being for the first team.

Can't have ever been in for him if he's ended up at Oxford.
He’s also got 4 in 4 in the pizza cup against league clubs, and a goal contribution every 150 minutes this season, sounds pretty good to me.Stop 'explaining it' then mate. Fact is, we need a proven goalscorer to come in and replace Stewart. Signing a 20 year old on loan from Arsenal who struggles to score in their U21 team isn't it.
Yeah I’m abit underwhelmed with this link but guess we just have to trust them they’ve earned itI’d be going all out for Undav but doesn’t seem like it’ll happen. Not going to lie I’ll be disappointed if the kid from Arsenal is the only striker we bring in but they’ve pulled it out the bag nine times out of ten with transfers so can’t really write them off just yet.
Agreed. Don't think we were in for him anyway. Out of the positions we need strengthening, attacking midfielder isn't really it.Glad in a way we haven't gone for Konate. We may have been interested up until Stewarts injury but now we are hopefully turning our attention on two out and out forwards rather than someone who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger.
I'd call that a good swap. Gallagher is a better player. He scores and makes more goals, already an England International and is the same age.Isn’t that all their Anthony Gordon money?
His value is boosted by very good world cup performances. This tells you what kind of value Ballard should have

From FFP perspective no. They’d recognise 40m profit on sale of Gordon immediately (given he was a youth team player therefore no net book value). But the loss in the accounts this year for Gallagher would be 8m on the assumption he’s given a 5 year contract. So would still have room to work with this window.I'd call that a good swap. I thought the Saudis would have been for him TBH.
