Watford are currently third in the league, with Middlesbrough just two points behind in sixth. When the two sides met at the Vic last August, the Hornets won 2-1 thanks to a late Vakoun Bayo goal. Strangely, though, neither side have the same manager or head coach as back then, with Chris Wilder and Rob Edwards long having been replaced by Michael Carrick and Slaven Bilic respectively. Middlesbrough last beat Watford in October 2012 in the Championship. Since then, the Hornets have gone their next ten games against Boro unbeaten, winning six Watford haven't lost their last five league games at Middlesbrough since a 1-0 loss in November 2011 under Sean Dyche. Only Burnley (17) have won more points from losing positions in the Championship this season than Middlesbrough (15). Watford have lost just one of their last six away games in the Championship, having won just one of their previous 12 away league games across the first and second tier. Team News None available yet. So we are due a defeat there? I'd take a draw. Or will it be like Norwich. Hopefully the new lads can continue to impress.
Boro will be without defender Dael Fry as his appeal against his red card against Sunderland has been rejected.
Just spoken to Slav. Araujo and Davis should both be involved tomorrow. Hopes that Porteous will sign today but unlikely to feature at Middlesbrough. Andrew French
How dare they miss out Terry Garbett... https://www.watfordfc.com/news/been-at-both-five-who-have-represented-the-hornets-and-boro
Araujo and Davis up front suggests the WO. So who would drop out? Bayo back to the bench takes care of one position, but the second one?
Probably end up just being one . Not sure how match fit both are ? Maybe take one out of midfield if they both play.
Jon Marks waffling about Boro signing Archer - I'm looking at him and thinking My god he looke like Sarr. Then I realised the camera was focussing on Sarr
