I have had all my jabs, I caught Covid last August and the symptoms were similar to the flu. Shivvers, aching body, horrendous sore throat, cough, loss of appetite etc, but by far the worst symptom was the sore throat, it was so painful to swallow, similar to tonsilitis. It probably peaked 3 days after first symptoms, then I slowly started to recover and was back normal after around 12 days. I had no loss of taste or smell that some people have reported.

Similar to the flu......that's because it was the flu <laugh>

How old are you......no more jabs for under 50s unless your addicted 2 the nanotechnology by now<cheers>

Had flu just after Christmas. Couldn't get out of bed for about 5 days. When I did, I just laid on the settee feeling like ****.

Took me over a fortnight to start feeling like I had any kind of energy again.

Flu you ****.....I had it and all who hasnt init...didn't make me feel like taking a risk on having a jab that could cause a stroke though <laugh>:emoticon-0172-mooni

Yeah I though that might be the case but all these people were in their 40's FFS. :emoticon-0106-cryin

I could put that into a more simple context... during the run up to Brexit, I knew someone a lot younger than that, healthy individual, no symptoms of any kind. Anyway they were voting to remain, and they knew I was voting to leave. We would have sensible conversations unlike on here lol, and I'd noted the age factor had got brought into the subject, ie I was way much older, and how young the other person was and how the young in general would vote to remain, sadly and it came as quite a shock, the person died unexpectedly, my point being, you just never know what card fate is going to deal you.

Yeah there's always going to be a normal amount of unexpected deaths, it's just starting to be a bit shocking for us lately as an unusual amount of people we know have died unexpectedly at a fairly young age. Enough for me to not take that jab.

Fair enough mate, I wouldn't even attempt to persuade anyone either way, simply because I don't know. I've had all mine, but I know what I'm like if I just get the flu and I don't fancy a month in bed, even if the jab puts me in my death bed lol (joke).

I'm the same, not trying to convince anyone we all have to follow our own path. It's a strange world at the moment.
