Humes come from the Irish league mate, which is probably League 2 standard at best. Hes now established himself as our first choice RB in less than a year. Dajaku has had plenty more opportunities than he has to get himself in the first team picture and he has been unable to do that. Alese is another example in how to take an opportunity with both hands.
Dajaku has had 10 appearances for us in all competitions this season and hes miles off the pace. A loan move will hopefully do him good, but hes certainly not being hard done by from peoples negative comments. People are just saying it as it is.

Do you go to the match regularly? Can you point some of these opportunities Dajaku has had this season because I must’ve missed them. He’s played about 160 minutes of football. So he’s averaging 16 minutes an appearance. What are you expecting him to do in that time?

As I’ve already stated Hume has no competition - and when he did, he couldn’t get a game over Gooch who is useless. All it took was an injury for Hume to come in and get a few starts under his belt. Dajaku has never really had that chance because of the quality we have in his position. You’re comparing someone being forced into the team because of injuries to someone having to compete with brilliant players to get into the team.

So what are you actually trying to say, we should keep him because his route to the first team is tougher and he needs to be kept and await for an opportunity to arise?
He brings nothing to the squad at present, his ability is not at the level it should be to compete at this level so a loan move is the obvious way forward for his own good and ours. I dont understand what you are complaining about??

Hume has been quality but he has nobody to compete with for his position due to injuries, never mind Diallo. I’m sure after Diallos first few games people were saying he looks average.. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Infact he didn’t play until we went to Watford when we had no fit strikers, and even then we started embleton and pritchard as 2 False 9s ahead of Diallo.

Edit - tell a lie he came on against reading a few days before that when the game was out of sight at 0-3!

After a handful of games I said in a match thread that I didn't really know what Amad was supposed to be doing. <laugh> He wasn't a right winger and he wasn't playing as a number 10.

Thankfully, he's just decided that he'll play both roles at the same time and it's all clocked for him. There was definitely an element of frustration from me, but he's also found much better form once playing every week which I didn't really appreciate at the time.

I’ve never once disagreed with the decision to loan him? I agreed earlier it’s the best move, I just don’t quite understand people slagging and totally writing him off when they’ve rarely seen him play.

Or as they see not necessarily how it is the main reason he hasn't had a look in is because of Diallo and the game time he's had hasn't always been in his favoured position, then again it's all about opinions

Because hes out of his depth in the opportunities he has had. That's my opinion and I'll stick by it.
Hes had a bedding in period in League 1 so it's not as though he started this season coming from a different country.

Wouldnt worry mate, I said we should end his loan come January and try someone else <laugh> Now I say Man Utd would be better with him instead of Anthony...

Unlike Hume, Dakaju can play 3 different positions so he has multiple opportunities to make an impression against different players, not just Diallo.

People are banging on about Dajaku not having enough game time?
Theres obviously a reason for that. The little time hes had he has done nothing to show hes worth a place in the team. Players like Hume and Alese have grasped their opportunities with both hands, where as Dajaku looks like a Duck out of water in this league.

Wouldn't say I was "banging on" like Tees :emoticon-0105-wink:
