Someone's had a few shandies lol. Atmosphere was pretty decent tonight btw, well until VAR came along anyway. Apparently a few of your lads took a kicking in home end too. Never judge an atmosphere by TV coverage, you realise they control what's put out?
Hasn't he given something ridiculous in transfer fees only for the team management to ****ing blow it on utter ****e?
Feels weird knowing I'm going to drive 320 miles next week and I won't even bother celebrating if we somehow manage to score a goal (not very likely admittedly).
I'm not gloating mate just mentioning it. Poor form really but you always run the risk if you openly celebrate in home ends. That's the world we live in unfortunately. I blame the club (Saints) tbh as they should have done more to stop you lot getting tickets.
Should it have counted then? Tbh i don't understand the hand ball rule. Can you explain why it should have counted?
I mentioned it as your post claimed we were sat in silence. Silent crowds don't tend to be aggressive. Hopefully those involved are nicked/banned.
quite simple really......If a ball hits a players hand outside the box its a free kick. If it hits a defending teams player in the box its a penalty......... A free kick is outside the box and the opposition may place a wall. Not a brick one, its a group of men stood side by side. A Penalty is taken from a spot inside the box and is normally a direct shot from an attacking player against a goalkeeper.
Mate ffs we won both decisions were debatable...so probably about right . Newcastle win probably deserved it .
