The veterans chase at Catterick has Mrs Dobbins Hitman Fred out for a run , interestingly there is a 10lb claimer in the plate who seems to be ticking over well for Mrs Dobbin . Hitman Fred is no stranger to the winners enclosure the chase record is 9 runs 5 wins 2 places taking a class 3 lto .
7/2 looks extremely fair from 365 with bog .

Looks like the bet (if any), with the fav looking vulnerable on form. My worry would be that he tired last time out and only just held on, despite 2 fences being omitted. Tomorrow he goes a further 1f, in softer ground and probably has to jump all the fences

That said, difficult to oppose him, but not my type of bet

    Good luck

I thought Sam's Adventure traveled like a very nicely handicapped and classy horse in the slog in the mud that was the North Yorkshire National, before not finding extra in the testing finish. Today he has to back up that performance, and if he does, I think he wins. The drop in trip should suit and the drop into veteran company will also aid him. He should be well positioned and I hope they are aggressive with the tactics with him.

I am just worried about the extra weight although there is a decent claimer i dont see the 3lb making much difference . The visor seemed to work wonders though on previous form . The market seems to be going the way of my thoughts with hitman going from 3rd fav to fav overnight .

Midnight Moss now fav. The bookies haven't a clue. One of the 3 will win. At 9/4, 3/1 and 4/1 you could back all 3 to win <laugh>
