Former Fifa president Sepp Blatter says the decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar was a "mistake".

Blatter, 86, was president of world football's governing body when Qatar was awarded the tournament in 2010.

The Gulf state has been criticised for its stance on same-sex relationships, human rights record and treatment of migrant workers.

Trust he will return his "back hander"

Not as bad as modern cricketers. Mark Wood unfit to play against India after bowling FOUR overs a few days ago. Fred Trueman is rolling over in his grave.

Is Ronaldo the only sportsman left on planet Earth? Yesterday's Sky Sports news top six stories had him featured in four of them. Man U were one of the other stories as well.

Declan Rudd has been at the training ground, I wonder if he is going to be added to the goalkeeping coaches or is perhaps shadowing Ed Wooten while studying for his coaching badges.

Edit: To answer my own question, he is gaining experience for his coaching badges
Well Declan Rudd has now joined the coaching staff as Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach. Sounds like Webber called him in almost immediately after hearing Rudd was being forced to retire.

Just when the manager wants him to hit the ground running he makes a tackle like that!? Trying too hard to impress I think!
